Pastors Richard & Theresa Hilton

Dr. Richard Hilton and his wife, Theresa, were married on June 3, 1977 in the same town where Dr. Hilton was born, Elizabethton, Tennessee. Shortly after their marriage, they left for Bible College. By 1982, our Pastors were in evangelism full time. In April 1985, God brought them back to Elizabethton to pioneer and plant Calvary Church. For over 20 years, our pastors have served the body of Christ faithfully here. Operating as “pastors to pastors”, they oversee many ministries including five churches comprised of pastors sent out from Calvary.

Pastor Richard earned his Masters Degree from Life Christian University and Doctorate from Victory Bible Institute. He serves as Bishop, Assistant Overseer, and World Missions Ambassador to the Calvary Alliance of Churches.

Pastor Theresa has served alongside her husband as a dynamic worship and choir leader, songwriter and composer. Not only does she have an unforgettable voice, but she also ministers as a teacher and mentor to women as well as a conference speaker in areas of worship and challenging women in their walk with God.

Pastors Richard and Theresa continue to reside in Elizabethton and are proud of their three children, all who are married and serving along with their spouses in ministry. But the “apple of their eye” is their grandchildren! Chloe, Judah, Aaliyah, Andrew (Drew), and Colin.
